Below are links to arts publications. This will be used to assist in developing an arts-centric media outlet that will serve as an experiential learning outlet for students interested in the visual and performing arts, design, arts management, creative and community development through cultural engagement.
Students will practice and learn skills via hands-on experience in design, photography, video, editing, writing, research, marketing, interviewing, observation, critique, and analyzation (among other skills). The output will be a web-based publication that can be minded for content to be repurposed in print, exhibits, presentations and broadcast. The publication will be open to all students interested in exploring a deeper connection to culture and community regardless of their declared path of academic study.
Questions to ask ourselves:
Where are the gaps in existing publications? How might we fill them?
What resources are needed to accomplish our vision?
What hurdles might we encounter?
Where might we find the support to gather the resources needed ?
