Live Music Production

This was a course I developed per the request of the chair of the art department at Delta State University. He wanted an elective that would be fun for the students, offer extensive hands-on experiential learning, and create a splash where the art department would be highly visible in the local community. I came up with a plan to record shows in public venues with local musicians and the students would serve as crew and production.

Photojournalism & Multimedia Storytelling

While teaching an intro course that was required for all journalism and new media majors and the University of Mississippi, we were meeting in-person once a week and supplementing that with online critiques and discussion. I utilized Medium as a platform for students to share work.
